Our sense of smell is considered the most primal and mysterious of our six senses. Smell influences our thoughts, memories, emotions, moods, and behaviors. How do scents trigger such strong emotions and how can we communicate the feelings they induce?
Join us as we welcome Jessica Olsen of Primary Elements for an exploratory workshop where we will attempt to put the ephemeral, personal experience of scent into words. Participants will reflect upon a series of botanical extracts, exploring these scents' effects on the psyche. You’ll tap into your intuitive relationship with various scents and create a personal blend informed by the responses invoked within you.
